There are lots of blu ray movies now available from online sites and high street stores. Watching a blue ray movie is said by some to be a far superior quality of both sound and vision. The picture is much sharper and colours much brighter and distinct.
If you are an avid movie watcher then this must be the way forward for you. If buying on disc blu ray movies will be dearer than normal discs as this is all quite new. You will also need to buy a player which supports a blu ray movie as a standard dvd player will not play them although you will be able to play your collection of standard dvd’s on the new player.
You will also need to have a HDTV. Therefore until HDTV’s become more widespread both types will be available. Eventually blu ray Movies will replace standard dvd movies but this will not be for some time to come. Some studios are supporting this technology and producing more 3d bllu ray movies in this format.
